Our Staff Cindy Pierson Cindy is the The Pump Connection’s office manager and bookkeeper. She keeps everything running smoothly and efficiently. In addition, she assists mothers with pump rentals and supplies. She is always ready to be of assistance. Jill Ames Jill is the person that usually answers the phone. She is friendly, sweet, and understanding when new mothers call in crisis. She is extremely helpful in finding the right fit for your nursing bra and is knowledgeable on all breastfeeding related products. Cheryl Gomez Cheryl assists mothers with pump rentals and retail merchandise. She is always cheerful and helpful in addressing any questions that may arise. Cheryl says, “ I love working at The Pump Connection because breastfeeding meant so much to me, and I feel I can really help others”. Heidi Fernandez Heidi, a Certified Instructor of Infant Massage, teaches our infant massage workshops. She is also a Child Development Specialist. Parents have raved about Heidi’s workshop, stating that massage has helped reduce their infant’s symptoms of colic and improve sleep. Jeanie Chandler Jeanie teaches our very popular BABY SIGNS class. Besides being a Certified Baby Sign Instructor, she is also certified as a Childbirth Instructor, and as a labor and postpartum doula. She is a wonderful addition to our staff. Paula Bennett Paula has worked for The Pump Connection for more than 5 years. She rents breast pumps after hours and on weekends when The Pump Connection office is closed. Paula worked in the TPC office for more than 3 years, assisting mothers with products and pumps, but now works solely as a pump depot so that she can spend more time with her family. Romina Ross The newest member of our staff, Romina assists mothers with breastfeeding at Encino-Tarzana Regional Medical Center after delivery. She is a UCLA certified lactation educator and has a BS degree in Nutrition. Romina’s calm and caring demeanor make her a perfect fit for postpartum.
