Founded by Ellen (Binky) Petok in 1984, The Pump Connection has earned the distinction of being the lactation center of choice for referring physicians throughout the San Fernando Valley. Since our founding more than 20 year ago, our staff of Board Certified Lactation Consultants has helped more than 15,000 women successfully breastfeed their babies. We look forward to helping you too!

Our Philosophy
At ThePump Connection, we focus on helping you realize your breastfeeding goals in a warm and supportive environment and in a nonjudgmental manner.
Our decades of experience allow us to help reduce your anxiety by offering time-tested solutions to simple or complex breastfeeding issues. We understand that you may have a lot of questions and concerns about having a new baby, and probably receive conflicting advice.
Let our staff create a coordinated breastfeeding plan involving you, your physician and one of our trained, experienced lactation consultants to increase your prospects for breastfeeding success – and help you enjoy this most rewarding and valuable experience.
Binky Petok and The Pump Connection lactation consultants have earned my respect as one of the premiere proponents of breastfeeding support services. For 8 years here at Encino-Tarzana Regional Medical Center, they have fostered breastfeeding success among our patients and bolstered the lactation knowledge of our nursing staff. Binky and her staff have been a great asset to us!"
James Banks, MD, Medical Director NICU, Chairman Department of Pediatrics, Encino-Tarzana Regional Medical Center.
